Junction Day Centre takes sensory tour

 Medieval Fayre

Saturday, August 16th - 10 am to 2 pm
Medieval musicians, knights sword-fighting, a falconer, archaeology activities for youngsters, brass rubbing, craft activities, medieval food and much more!
Over 1000 people turned up to have a super day. For all those who asked if we'd be doing this again: "Yes, next year on July 25th"

Sensory Tours
A new type of Cathedral tour for visually disabled people is now on offer. This visit can involve a range of activities including hand bell ringing, listening to organ music, a story telling session, smelling incense and touching woodcarvings, vestments,  and memorials. We also have a Cathedral model with braille labels. Please let us know in advance if you would like to enjoy a sensory tour. Contact the Heritage Project Manager, Toria Forsyth-Moser, at the Ripon Cathedral Office, Liberty Courthouse, Minster Road, Ripon, HG4 1QS or tel. 01765 603462
