The Archbishop of York, Dr. John Sentamu, presided at a Festival Eucharist and Consecration of the Chapel of Justice and Peace at Ripon Cathedral on Sunday, 15th October.
The Archbishop chose as the theme for his sermon
Light and Transformation and began with the text:
If you greet only your brothers and sisters, what more are you doing than others?
After the service and consecration Dr. Sentamu met members of the community at an informal lunch held in the Cathedral.
