‘Buen Camino!’ This was the greeting we 22 Ripon Cathedral pilgrims found ourselves exchanging in late August with countless others along the same pilgrim way. We were doing the last 110 km of the Portuguese pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela. The word camino means way and has come to refer to a pilgrim route. The greeting is a way of wishing others a good, blessed, fruitful pilgrimage. Well, we Ripon pilgrims certainly experienced that.
